Personal Allowance Uplift Bill

Personal Allowance Uplift Bill

This bill would lift the Personal Allowance (the level of which before you begin to pay Income Tax & National Insurance) from the current level of £12,570, to the amount a full time worker on the National Minimim Wage earns, £23,795.

This would remove millions of people from paying tax, and offer a huge tax break to anyone currently paying tax. This would be paid for by adjusting tax rates for people earning over £50,000 per annum.

By putting more money into people's pockets, this bill would help tackle the Cost of Living Crisis, and turbocharge the economy by allowing people to spend more of their own money.
