Local Liberal Democrat candidate for Cheadle Tom Morrison, has accused the Conservative Government of “incompetence and chaos” after the Autumn Statement saw tax hikes and cuts to services for people in our constituency. The Chancellor’s measures come in the wake of economic turmoil following the “mini-budget” which saw mortgage rates spike.
Cheadle’s Conservative MP has come under fire for opposing an amendment that would have seen families informed about the impact of the massive stealth taxes she voted for in Parliament last week.
